Assumption: Shields have to be fixed when CZ is released as a paid product.

          Any takers?

(on topic: "Cache read error" Thank you, thank you Valve :)

I agree..Happens to me all the time...They will get around to it
I just bring down console and type in retry as soon as I see the map is changing. Thats just a quick and dirty way around it I guess you could say.

Well my bloody CD-Key no longer works.

As you might discern from my tone, I'm not thrilled.

i just wish they would fix the problem that happens once in a while when it takes 20 minutes to load after a map change and eventually says "load failed"
thats been a problem for like over 3 years. kinda like the radar dissappearing and the sound screwing up after u alt+tab (which it still does btw, no support for old soundboards the most likely cause).

my concern is steam still uses 40+MB of RAM when just loaded. this increases as you use it...

all in all, the update took about 15 secs. w00t.

Eh, after you report one, just re-click where it says 'Report blahblahblah mod' although it should say 'Take back report' or something..Yeah. I've done it many a time, even done it to Rizzuh once. Damn fast moving mouse.

We're not able to have multiple accounts with teh same cd-key, this is bullcrap, well I logged into my first made account and I lost all my third party games, HURRAY FOR CZ !!!
Isn't that the way how WON works?

You can copy the 3rd party mods back to your first accounts half-life folder.

When that happens Steam should pop-up a load failed dialog for users who never check the console.-

No it's not, Einstein.. It's to stop people using stolen CD-keys.. A CD-key already in use by someone else is now useless if you don't know the Steam login & pw that go with it.. That's also why you can only make 1 account with a CD-key.. It's a good system imho!

You can however install Steam on different PCs using the same CD-key and Steam account, but you won't be able to play on more then 1 PC at a time online.. But's how it is with WON aswell (Like FLeK0 also said).. If you want to play on LAN with multiple PCs on 1 CD-key I suggest you wait until LAN support in added to Steam, and in the meantime keep playing CS 1.5 on LAN..

That means someone else registered your CDkey before you did, or you registered it twice or more with different Steam accounts. You have to use the first account where you registered it.

if someone steals my cd-key and goes to make a account with it and then go play with it.

will we both get kicked off or will it be the first who was there to not get kicked off.

in other words do i have to find a new cd-key if some1 else is going online with it?
