You fucking idiot, we didn't uninstall Steam. Closing steam inbetween the time VALVe fucked up and the time VALVe realized they fucked up caused the cache to be redownloaded.

I got into Steam now, too bad I don't have any games to play because it deleted my sh*t, GG Valve, destroy Counter-Strike and make us 'play' your new creation which you call CS 1.6 but in all reality it's a pile of shit that you tried to force feed us with your cool "next-gen" game distribution technology which you yourself can't even get working correctly.



All of these things do not bode well for the future of CS, Valve, and I dare say Steam....

Steam is without a doubt, the downfall of CS. By using Steam and the new system, they've shafted the modeling community quite badly, they've pissed off the majority of CS players it seems, and for what? The only reason VALVe has for using Steam is so they can get more money quicker. What happened to CS (and to a lesser extent, DoD, NS etc) being a community-driven mod? If the community overall decides Steam is a load of balls (and lets face it, it is a load of balls, and the majority of the community don't like it), shouldn't they get rid of it? I'm all for game development, and making everything run easier and smoother, but VALVe obviously don't give a damn anymore about the CS community.

Let's just say that we all know some people have it out for Valve. These people generally are controlled by their feelings and tend to make baseless claims and can do no better than flame Valve.
