So couldn't anyone who lost say their opponent hacked? There isn't really a way to prove it with undetected hacks if they play unobviously...
Every match is recorded...They watch the recorded matches to see if a person hacked... Ultimate Arena is 100% secure..No doubt

Maybe csn should have a little "steam status" box, underneath the latest content blurb perhaps. A spot where you could just post the standard "steam friends down"..."Now its back up" messages without cluttering the main news with steam spam. It seems to happen often enough to deserve it.

yeah, and imagine if they released HL2 in September like they were supposed to...

Shit, steam isnt even fully functional yet, why would you deploy HL2??!

stick to the topic, save all this for the steam support/help forums at steampowered.com.

I can tell you are a big supporter but someone can use a wallhack, and it will allow them to, for example, deploy certain strategies that will greatly improve their playing. They don't have to be shooting or wallscoping through walls to hack and gain a benefit from doing so. That type of hacking cannot be detected by viewing a demo file, sorry! It is not 100% secure, and personally I would not bet money on a game unless it was LAN (well, I wouldn't bet money on a game at all but still.. heh).

Ultimate Arena, the leading platform where multiplayer online gamers can create their own tournaments for cash prizes, has converted to Counter-Strike 1.6.

Yea.. pretty much every league has converted. Ok Valve now get rid of 1.5 and lets get back to having one version. Or just go back to 1.5, I would prefer that.. but either way lets get back to ONE CS.

True but I mean, you can choose which tournament to play in. If you suspect that someone may cheat, just play in a $.50 or $1.00 game...You have the choice to enter a $1.00 game or a $20.00 game. You can EASILY win and lot of money, so just give it a try.
