the honest way i see it... jealosy...

valve saw what their kid(cs) was becoming

and got sad, they didnt want cs to be adopted

and grow up to be something its not, they wanted

to reclaim it and make sure it stays what it always was...



they just dont know what to do with what they were handed,

however i am excited just becuase it is counter-strike, and valve has always impressed me...

As for me, i'm with captain, i haven't been playing since its creation, but cs is the only game i play anymore, and i'll buy it just to test out my 1337 skills vs computer. Like the russian chess player vs deepblue. i'm a fan, and thats what we do.



PS. your kidding right, rituals works is somewhere hidden like when you beat the game with blah blah blah you get new model, that would actually make sense.

ive been playing since the begginnig too (or pretty darn close) with a little stop for a year. ive watche sc progress and its been awsome. so yeah i like fighting bots too, and like Catain said, the bots and maps will leak into the general comunity for free most likely.



its still sickens me that people can mess with us and we still shrug our sholders and pay for it, lol...in all humor more than attack, its pretty darn funny.

OK, lets listen to what sardiax just stated, 'if they included ritual's missions i would assume they included the ritual game content,' then rze says that some ritual missions will require special items like blow torch and such... so where did you guys all start this, they excluded ritual models, maybe its not in the challenge mode, but i'm sure its in the SP mode. And probably they would be unlockable, it makes sense to get new model rewards i.e. video in tony hawk. So lets stay calm and think rational.



PS. you are a bigger man then most KTRICK7, see captain cs fanboys are mature adults, we need not worry.

Hey even if the models are just in single player and not in challenge mode or multiplayer, there are still the .mdl files. Just copy and paste em. Well if they even are in single player that is. Also the models might be kept in Steam caches so who knows? Not me.

Personally Im glad they changed developers, Rituals version looked like it was gonna suck. And considering CZ is a HL mod Im sure you can download custom skins, not that I care anyway. The new one looks like it will be fun not like the old ritual version

To whomever played the build I have a couple of Questions i would like you to answer.



1. Are we going to be able to play the maps that Ritual made in the Deleted Scenes section and are they exclusive from the game?

2. In the Single Player Campaign, is that where there were the tiers and stuff or was that in the new multiplayer mode.

3. If my question above was concerning to the multiplayer mode then can u give us some details on the single player mode?

4. How many new maps are going to be in the Single Player Campaign?

5. Are the new multiplayer maps the same as the ones in the Single Player Mode?

How could this happen? How could VALVe be so stupid? HL2 delays, code leak, now this? Whoevers idea it was to replace that beautiful ritual m4 should be shot by a real m4. come on, people. VALVe is going to ruin anything Half-Life. I think Half-Life was a one in a million success for them. And steam makes me want to take a shit.

I like the idea's and new game play modes. But I was also looknig forward to the new models? Maybe Vavle has created a option for using the old models or the new Ritual models. Liek they did with TFC a few years back. Just don't shout just yet. I hardly believe Valve would do something like this as too destroy the new better looking models.

well personaly it sounds like the game is gonna suck......i feel bad for the people who pre orderd it because its just gonna be crap after havin 4 differnt developers...it looked great at the start now it looks like a piece of she male ass...when will valve lern...the same goes for steam....

Boo! I was hoping for CZ to be a straight-forward CS SP game, maybe with new modes and guns, and sweet models, but instead, they just revamp some aging maps, say "fuck the new models" and add a stupid "challenge" gimmick. I would have bought CZ, but now, because of this news, I may not.
