Maybe if you complete all the new mission rules it unlocks new maps, player skins, new weapons, or a symbol(like a star)next to your name in multiplayer or something?

and OMG, has anyone noticed the detail textures? look on the sandy wall in the foreground, you can see lots of little details. you know the way, like the unreal engine has detail textures.

what annoys me a bit is why they didnt take the screenshots with anisotropic filtering at least of some kind. will make far away things look so much clearer.

I think Valve finally realised, if you want to do something properly you have to do it yourself. Most of the maps in Counter-Strike have been screaming "UP DATE ME" for a long time. I think the new textures look great.



I am looking forward to seeing the updated versions of Militia and Assault!

Almost 99% of the CS:CZ media floating around out there is from previous dev teams and not a reflection of the current game, including that shot. The current CS:CZ uses the default CS player models AFAIK.

I havent read the comments so i don't know if this has been posted but... I bet valve is just making CZ gold so suddenly because of the hack incident. If CZ was in completion, and valve was just storing it waiting to release at a specific date, wouldnt that mean it could be stolen too? i bet it was stolen and becuz valve fears its guna get leaked and no one will buy there game, CZ magically becomes GOLD. sory but, u dont usually announce a release date one month before the release. thats not how it usually works...
