I don't play CS anymore either, but I hang around because I guess I still have hopes that Valve will change. Misguided I suppose.



In any case it's a good place to keep up with happenings in the HL community despite the fact that its supposed to be a CS fan site.

what do they mean when they say:

Condition Zero is going gold this Friday, and will be available via Steam and at retail on November 18th.

does that mean its coming out on friday or coming out on nov 18?

I hope the bots will be released in normal CS 1.6. But sadly it seems they are a CZ exclusive. Damn CZ!

Thats just for more fun on the well known multiplayer maps. Ritual's single player campaign is in the game too.

As far as I know, a game going "gold" means that the game is complete. CZ is gold this friday, and the game will go on sale this November 18th, via steam, and retail stores.

By the way, this is what I was talking about when I said it was stupid for European mags to review CZ a few months ago.



The game is totally different now.

There's been so many versions of the game I don't even know what to expect now.



Raven > Gearbox > Ritual > Valve. Each team with their own focus and direction. As they say, too many cooks spoil the broth. The screenshots do seem nice though, so I hope it's turned out good in the end.

Seriously though... It looks like they left some of the 'challenge' Tony Hawk (or whoever) stuff in. The third screen-shot page was down, but I assume that the new dust is going to be the same one as in CSX (more of a middle-eastern bazaar type deal).

I wonder if CZ is going to be more like Blue Shift. A short game with graphics improvements. Of course theres bots. And the best feature, Steam!!! Aww well I just might buy it.
