If you really want to find out how good a gun is, you have got to play with the sound off. I have found that much of my first impression of how good a gun is comes from how it sounds. It is very hard in counterstrike to find out the true value of a weapon. It takes lots of trial and error.

Yea that's the FAMAS alright, a P90 that can Peirce doors\walls has a burst fire and half the ammo, so if you know how to use the P90 then you should have an idea how to use the FAMAS.



On a side note who else thinks the 5-7 and the P90 should be able to Peirce doors\walls like the Desert Eagle and the rifles can, because the 5.7mm caseless ammo that they both use was designed specifically to Peirce Armour while still remaining small/light enough to fit into a pistol or smg.

p90 is way better than the famas, and only feels a tad less powerful.. you're screwed if you think i'm halfing my ammunition and being a cheapskate to buy a famas over a p90. p90 is sooo much more accurate than the famas (or maybe i'm just used to it)



for the longest time i thought that p90 and 5-7 pierced through doors until i found out about the bullet decals being false. realized that some other non-piercing guns showed the same decals leading to my mind eventually blocking out the existance of decals during battles [even though i love them, i just couldn't play cs without mp_decals.. blood and holes in walls after a long fight just make my heart flutter ] i still think they're pretty good for measuring your recoil while spraying

5-7 should be able to pierce though walls, its stronger than other types of ammo

Besides the fact that 5-7 is CT specific and to make sure balance isn't upset further, it should not penetrate. Unless they want to give us Ts a single beretta with wall penetration and accuracy also.

Who ever said they were having trouble/low FPS on de_aztec.... either get a better graphic card, or try one of the other video modes. I used to get 15fps on aztec using OpenGL, then I tried D3D and now I get 70fps AT LEAST on all maps (including the ever-fps draining de_torn). And hell, I don't even have a good graphic card either (it's barely on par with a GeForce 2 >_> )



Oh yeah, and I tried the FAMAS three-shot burst the other day... totally useless I think. Much better to go full-auto, or better yet, grab a P90, floor a few people, then pick up a Galil when you run out of ammo.

Well then the CT's should have dual USP's.. Besides.. both sides can buy a P90.. that use the 5.7mm ammo.. Now I can see maybe having the p90 pierce a door.. because of the extra muzzle energy.. but the

5-7 would still be able to penetrate..at least every other time.. or something.. Besides.. all the guns in CS are nothing like their real life counterparts.. not ONE at all.. they all seems to just use the LOOK of the weapons and throw everything else out the window.
