FIDO Galil/Famas Guide

A Counter-Strike tactic site called, FIDO, has released a new helpful guide for people that still aren't familiar with the news guns, the Galil and the Famas. This guide provides a lot of information on how to use these guns. They also provide screenshots to help you better understand it. Here is a quote from the guide:

I have become a huge fan of the Famas' 3 shot burst. From a good distance it is still very accurate, and it seems to get the job done. In full automatic mode it feels a little too much like the p90 to me, but then again, is that bad for a rife?

What do you guys like better, that Galil, or the Famas? I like the Famas better. To me, the Famas has a "you need skills to use it" feel. The galil has a "for noobs only" feel.

i dont like the new guns, and my teams strats havent changed much. we still buy mp5 second/third round and dont buy galil or famas unless it's last round or we're going for all or nothing

galil is my pref, it has 10 extra bullets over the famas and seems to be more powerful, plus the famas second feature never helped me much

The M4 is the easiest gun to use, yes.

IF the M4 is easiest to use how come last night when i was playing dust2 on the Terrorist team, and i had picked up an M4. Nearly the whole CT team had M4's but yet i was able to kill at least 4 people a round. The M4 is easy to use, but no so easy to master, there are newbs all over the place doing exactly what they shouldn't with that gun.



I like the Galil better myself, the +5 ammo compared to a normal gun can really help, and the gun does lots of damage and is fairly accurate. The FAMAS fires peas... they do almost no damage and the -5 ammo is just death.

I would say that the galil is better b/c of the price and the power. The famas is decent, but generally i just save in scrims/matches rather than using it. I would say that it is worth doing a save round using only galils, but it is not worth only using famas during a save round.

FAMAS is way too random compared to Galil/M4/AK/MP5. I would take an MP5 over a FAMAS any day.

um this guide is worthless. Bullet marks, "decals" are not always true representives where a shot lands.

3 bursts famas shoots..... i made some impresive head shots



full auto i got 3 down once .....
