Hard to tell, just had a game as T and the CT with shield seems to be as invincible as before.

reality check:

face the fact:

steam has made it easier for ppl to get HL and its mods without buying it at all...now all u have to do is get a cdkey generator and u r done.

face it, steam has made it easier.

for a month i couldnt get my cdkey coz i mooved and it was packed sumwhere deep. i spent a month looking for warez to run my 1.5 but i couldnt find anything.although i could find a cdkey gen. wid ease i couldnt get my hands on the games.

in the end i resorted to playing steam beta then when i got my cdkey I updated to Steam 1.0



moderators.u can delete this comment if u want but this is the truth and it does hurt.u can hide but it is unfair to ppl who buy the game.



MY POINT:

-VALVe should change their alogrithms for HL2 so ppl cant hack it as easily.

-make steam more secure

-and make some smart way to fix warez.

-i bought the game and i think its unfair that people get the game for free.

-and no i'm not lying i did buy the game.

-i'm using a different computer wid a different ip and different account so i dont get banned =).so tht wont matter. Ban me i dont care.

It don't matter what Valve do, there will always be some spotty geek at his PC trying to hack HL and HL2. As for the "facts" as you put it, we get cs for free! Thats right folks its free, Gratis and for nothing. As long as you buy the original, and its only a few Pounds/Dollars/yen etc so there really is no excuse for not having the original game and using a CD key gen to get it for nothing. You can pick up the full set of games including cs retail for a few bucks. So anyone who uses a CD key gen ( and do they really work anyway? ) is a dick IMO. If people don't buy the game eventually they will begin charging us a line sub like they do on Star wars galaxies and where would we be then?

So... these morons have been saying they fixed the shield glitch for about a month. Over the next two weeks the only glitch they'll be fixing is the hitch in their rocking chair when they lube up and beat it off... get me? Don't hold your breath.

i think the mp3 support in CS 1.6 is just bare bones for ease of debugging and testing, and there will probably be enhancements when they have more time.

Steam Suxs My Opinion

Steam:

Opengl drivers lock when entering menus (tip select find server before hitting options)

Update takes forever even on a T3 line.

Friends is always down (well not always but alot more than won)

Steam itself crashs (well not always but alot more than won)

VGUIS cause lag to normal gameplay.

Strange text corruption on certain screens.

No way to hit retry to the same server forced to load steam twice to get to one server.

I could go on & on with Steam bugs lets go to 1.6 itself.



Shield Rocks (same as using a machine gun for DoD) I dont see what all the bitching about this is.



Famas SUCKS (a P90 with a burst mode with 2% better accuracy)



Galil Rocks (a colt for t thats cheaper or a way better mp5)



Glock is finally usable



new knife is O.K>



all the new model arm skins "although they match" suck



CS 1.6 and Steam itself are buggy and unplayable at current stage of steam.



I think VaLVe should just ditch steam then everything would be fine.



PS leaving or getting rid of won will ruin cs forever.
