THIS MORNING, I LOGGED INTO STEAM, OPENED MY "GAMES BOX" AND I SEE MY COUNTER-STRIKE AND HALF LIFE ICONS AT IT'S NORMAL COLORS, I RIGHT CLICK COUNTER-STRIKE AND THE ONLY OPTION WAS "INSTALL"
I ALREADY INSTALLED THE CACHE FILES NEEDED TO PLAY COUNTER-STRIKE 1.6, STEAM WITH CACHE FILES, STEAMINSTALL_CS.EXE, 400MB, THE ONE THAT INCLUDES COUNTER-STRIKE 1.6 AND HALF LIFE
I'M GUESSING THE STEAM IS PROBABLY JUST DOWN, CAUSE I HAD MY ICONS GREENED OUT BEFORE, BUT THIS TIME MY ICONS ARE AT IT'S NORMAL COLORS
I WENT TO WORK AND COME BACK, SAME PROBLEM, I READ ON THE STEAM FORUMS THAT PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, DO YOU LIKE NEED THE CACHE FILES FOR THE OTHER DAMN MODS AS WELL TO GET COUNTER-STRIKE BACK UP AGAIN, SONOVABITCH MAN, STEAM DEFINITELY RUINED CS, CS 1.6 IS GREAT, BUT STEAM BLOWS ASS

If you want an M4 with a lot of detail up top, this certainly provides.
I'm always having mixed feelings when it comes to reflex sights. On the one hand, they're really cool. However, making them look right in-game is impossible, as the holographic indicator will always hover on top of the target, so at the angle you hold guns in CS... you'd never actually see the reticule.
So basically, much like the reload situation... sometimes you have to sacrifice a tiny bit of realism due to shortcomings in the game, and in return you get some pretty cool effects. Nice replacement overall.Comment
