I d/l the 388mb install/cache file, installed with no problem. THEN!!!!! 39 attempts to finally get logged in, then once logged in, I click GAMES and Steam LOCKS UP!!! I would love to follow the advice above about clicking on the CS Properties, but I cannot even get to there, Steam keeps locking up. I understand this is most probably a bandwith problem with Steam, but isn't this exactly what happened with the Steam Beta release back in the winter?? Seems like Valve would have learned a lesson. I guess the only thing to do is keep trying and hoping that something will be done. I have gone to the Status page on Steampowered.com and this morning, there were 8 servers down.Comment

ROFL.... I clicked on steam icon and i though it was going to open but it didnt so i go play some cs 1.5 and 5 minutes later steam opens up and askes for login information, what the fuck is this bullshit?Comment

i have never seen such a program as steam where i am exsatic that it actually WORKS (when it does). That is absolutly pathetic. I should be more exstatic when i dont get n00bed actually PLAYING the game, but unfortunatly i have yet 2 reach that stageComment
