The .audio 90s are about the same as the DSP-500 (the .audio line is the DSP, sans-USB) and they run like around $30 on Amazon. So if you already have a good soundcard, I'd still recommend those.

I have the .audio 90s and there are very nice, I've had them for about two months now. I had a pair of Labtec headphones, the same prices and the .audio 90s and the sound went out in one ear after a few weeks. I sent them back and got another pair but while I was waiting to get them back I went out and bought the .audio 90s the sound is much better in them. Its a legal wallhack in my opinion, and they have lasted me two months. They are also very comfortable, I wore them about eight hours straight one time. If you have a good sound card already and don't want to waste it go for these.

The only reason to really buy these is if you LAN alot for tourneys on different machines. Using them youll always have consistent sound levels because the sound card is part of the headphones, as opposed to readjusting every time you play a diffrent machine.
