As long as videogames are played, there will be hackers and the cheats that they produce. Nothing is perfect. Personally, I dont know why people make cheats, maybe they want to prove a point of some sort, or maybe they want to be nice to some (the people who get the cheats). But as long as videogames are played, there will be some kind of crap to put up with, be it hackers, cheaters, or just having a bad day and getting owned (especially on 56k)!!!

lol I don't know how you can show respect for someone like that. All cheaters/hackers do is ruin the game for good players. So why show respect for someone like that? The fact that someone like him is leaving just shows that the anti-cheats are working, and the hackers are eventually going to give up. I'm just waiting for the day.

In conclusion: Cheaters suck, and all I have to say to him, is good riddance. and if you read this hacker, your letter sucked.
What else can be said??! Too true Shadow Dragon!

        Youre absofreakinglutely 110 percent right!!!!!

honestly i would have to say cs would be a lot different without cheats so dont say, "WHY DO PEOPLE MAKE HACKS, WTF KISDB!!@1v THEYRE JUST RUINING THE GAME FOR PEOPLe, BUNCH OF LAMERS" seriously they dont CARE what you say and it only makes them laugh and have more fun. most cheaters who make they're cheats just do it for the challenge, you cant really figure out WHY they do it, its just a regular hobby

          --

i'd also like to say, united admins are doing a GREAT job with cheating-death . and vac does a very poor job which i agree with joolz, i wish more cheating-death servers are out there and what i like about c-d is that it blocks the cheats from functioning, no banning for 8 years, or anything. meaning you can use cool scripts like HLAMP

ROFL, i remember his little stint at UA, i was like uuuh, riiight that'll last a week.... then it did, and i laughed some more.

im with rizzuh and TFG on this one, he's gotten lazy and tired of the "you block me, i'll find a way to get around you" crap that he was in (which he did so easily for a long time)

Cheating isn't immoral, its really more dishonorable. One would expect fair game, but thats the price we pay when we play with total strangers, cheating is something we will have to deal with.

I bet he blames the cheating community for not supporting him. This reminds me of everyone else who ever quited something with counter-strike.

Just because somebody has skills doesn't mean he should automatically receive respect. I'm sure theres some really smart scientists out there that are making chemical weapons. Are we supposed to respect them too? To hell with them and to hell with all the hackers who do nothing but ruin the game. I'd respect them more if they used their skills to enhance the game, not ruin it due to the fact that they suck at it.

I have a great respect for a hacker like Joolz. It's the fact that his cheat gets out to thousands of people who just can't hack it.

i hate VAC... they gave me a 5 year ban for hlamp and i had to waste 20$ on a new Cd-key...bastards....seriously though cheating-death is the right answer in preventing cheats from working and not just handing out bans. seriously a 5 year ban my god they prey on the addicted counter-strike players and now they made another 20 dollars off me...well that made no sense but to sum it up

VAC sux cock and cheating-death rules

I am not a hacker, but i must say Joolz has amazing talent. I find it very unfortunate when u find a case like this when someone with great talent wastes it on something that is pointless, like cheating. His coding ability is amazing, but why code cheats? Code the game or something, the game was meant to be played not hacked. I hope you go on to do better things that positively effect the world, not negatively. (rizzuh i <3 your spell checker)

edit: lets see how long until another vac update hehe

Wow, how about we all just ignore this joolz's sorry ass and not give him glory as he retires for God's sake. Honestly, people that spend enormous amounts of time making hacks for a game are a lot sorrier than people who bash them.

On a side note, telling us to shut up about hating on hackers is absolutely bogus... if no one cared whether someone hacked or not, then everyone would hack since the difference between hackers and non-hackers is ethics (or lack thereof in the hackers' cases). In his twisted view, ethics are thrown out the window and CS and other games become 100% hacks.

Also, one should realize that hackers take advantage of people to get their "fun" even though this exploitation is strictly a burden to others. They forsake responsibility as a part of society to get a rise out of people.

Finally, even though CS is just a game it should not be ignored that even in a game, one's character is shown and hacking is as cheating life. Melodramatic as that line was, the letter by Joolz was an Apocalyptic disaster in comparison. (It was overly dramatic and horrible.)

When you get down to it, we are all suffering from cheaters because people like Joolz are insecure little pricks. He writes a cheat, it may even have taken some skill - but OH NO! - nobody knows how lame I am yet! So let's release the cheat, and let everyone know how I'm able to ruin something good. Anything else he says is BS. He has no integrity, and isn't able to distinguish right from wrong. If he is able to code, by this time no-one gives a rats. He has nothing but contempt from true cs'ers.
