Also...does anyone else feel that the usp match tomb raider style pistol is stupid? Doesn't seem quite fitting or original to me.

There are some problems though. If you look really really really really close when he jumps down, his feet clip into the ground a little. I personally don't care. It looks gorgeous (please work on my system).

I'll need to build a new computer just so I can run HL2 smoothly. Judging from the tremendous success of HL and its mods.... it's probably worth it :)

To make it play smoother, download the Rad tools (http://www.radgametools.com) .... and recompile the .exe with DirectDraw insted of whatever VALVe was using.



Direct draw runs nice and smooth.

Okay, back to the topic....I think they released all of these half life 2 vids to make you think that half life 2's release is closer than you think.

Oh, and you can adjust half life 2's quality when you have it to suit the crappy computers most ppl have. ( I have a 128MB video card and a 3.2 gig processor if your wondering.)

but freemen needs a pistol anyways since its basically your single shot accurate weapon. i think the usp match fits nicely since it was meant for accurate shooting. the model in the game is too fat, it kinda bugs me.

i personally like the h&K usp match, it's a very nice looking gun, and it can be SHINY :p

I have been told that a usp match isnt used in law enforcement but rather, is a sports competition gun. So yeah, it's stupid.



HL1 had a glock, they should go along with something like that.
