    HL2 Vid: Tunnels

Another Half-Life 2 movie--as previously seen in the E3 feeds--has been released. Entitled Tunnels, the movie is of quite excellent quality as per usual. You can grab it using your local Steam or use the FileShack mirror.

The media comes on the heels of a possible delay for the title and the exciting HL2 Traptown movie.

So easy to download with Steam. Plus I NEVER had any bugs\crashes with that program. Guess I am lucky..

Anyway, I love this video, the best one, in my opinion.

it was a pretty good movie, not as good as traptown tho, but you see a new gun, a guy on fire, and many VALVe's :o

You'll also note that the triangulated hump in the water is now nice and smooth.

Might I also add that whomever did that demo had HORRIBLE AIM.

Also, I still don't believe it.

That movie was awesome!!!!!!!!!! also there possibly glitch i wanted to point out. When i go to games then right click HL2 media there drop down where you can choose "Do not automatically update this game" or "Always keep this game up to date". Well if i have it on Do not automatically update this game it will update but if i switch to Always keep this game up to date it waits about 3 seconds then switches back to Do not automatically update this game?

When I hear Gabe Newell telling me, in official format, that there is a delay, then I'll believe it. 20 minutes until I see the "Tunnels" video.

Yeah, it's a bug. If you want it to (not to) update, turn steam off, go in your steamcache folder and delete half-life 2 movies, turn steam back on and try it again.

                        I love steam.

The old version of this video had the guy who caught fire fall off the ledge, cool stuff.

I heard there was a lot of controversy surrounding hl2's techincal short commings simplex? Ie; the gun models, the ass looking rocks, etc.

That's why I put it up there.

There are some problems though. If you look really really really really close when he jumps down, his feet clip into the ground a little. I personally don't care. It looks gorgeous (please work on my system).

Orphy would have given it a 10, but because of the clipping he probably only gave it a 9.

Yes. I am in the process of reviewing something, and i lost a point for clipping again. =D

                              I don't like clipping.
