1.6 Update 7/15

Maybe there's some sort of bug in the new release. Anyone else getting choppy frame rates? I was on dust2 both times by the way. I'm gonna try making a listenserver too see how that works out.

Anyway, It's not as choppy in a local server, but I still get the chops. Maybe I'll restart my computer sometime soon.

Honstly, that shield completely throws off the balance of the game. The only way to balance gameplay would be to either remove the shield or give the Terrorists x-ray goggles or a semi-truck.

They could make it so the shield could only take a certain amount of damage, before it becomes useless. Leaving the CT to only fight back with a pistol. That kind of works out.



Haha, but a semi-truck would be nice. I could just see some CT spawn-camping on Dust, then seeing this huge, mother-ass Mack truck come barreling through the archway. Haha, I can see it now.

I thought the shield USED to break in the early 1.6 betas, maybe it was just the caffiene pills.



Seems like VALVE is making the shield as useful as possible, regardless of things like physics and common sense just so people will use it.



But then again, we can make towers on each other's heads and no one complains.
