CPL Pays Differently

Of course the ultimate situation would be a system similar to football: give every pro-gamer a ridiculously large sum of money per-year to remain on a certain team for a set period of time. And when the CPL comes around, no one needs to worry about winning any money at all because everyone's already a millionaire.



Instead, everyone can focus on winning in order to make more profits off merchandising.

I like the CPL and all of its previous attempts at making e-sports bigger, but I think this is just a load of bullshit kthnx.

I used to use this back in the day, and it still has a place in my heart. The laser module (or is it a lam?) is kinda big and can be distracting at first, but you get used to it. And the draw animation is pretty abrupt. But it's really fun to use and lends a completely different to the MP5. The skin isn't ultra-detailed, but it gets the job done. I got tired of it after a while because I didn't like getting shot up by a terrorist and not hearing it from a distance, so I switched to a non-silenced one. But it looks good and it's a fun change of pace. An oldie but goodie.



EDIT: I hear you nighthawk, this skin used to be paired with a really soft firing sound, which was hard to discern over the other sounds in the game.

When you say fast draw anim, you mean FAST draw anim...Its freaky. I dont think you could get used to it..lol....Well the model and skin sucks...it sucks big time....its just ewww...unless you got a low end system then i would say......well i would rather lag around than use this :)

why the hell is this for the mp5? make it for the tmp!!! and the silencer, plus that silver thing (lam, flashlight...wtf is it?) totally ruins it. The mp5 model is ok.

One of the better silenced MP5 models available, ignoring animations.



Obviously this is somewhat of a niche model, and doesn't stand up to our top MP5 replacements in terms of realism, but where have you seen a better MP5SD model? I wouldn't like it as a TMP model, because it feels too powerful for that little hummingbird of a gun. It would be nice if the LAM was optional, admittedly, and had a laser if you used it. But hey, it's an older model.



One more thing, before we get too many comments headed this way: using a silenced model/sounds does NOT change how far away you can hear the shots coming from. Only guns which are silenced in CS (M4/TMP/USP) have shorter audio distances. It will change what you hear (the chirp or click/thump sound, depending on what silenced firing sound you like), but not how far you can hear it.



So in other words, if you were to replace your AWP with a suppressed sniper rifle, you'd still hear that suppressed sound across the map. Same thing here.

I used this model for awhile. While it's not the best, it's a different mp5, with a few plaques that keep from being great(plus that arm glitch when you reload which BUGS me).

OK, since my other review was crap, I'll get onto it. The model is inaccurate, the skin has no texture, and the UV map sucks. Happy now?

Such a great skin... Ruined by crappy animations that are just way too fast.
