Look here. That's from a regular cheat website. Which anti-cheat do you think is better or which would you rather use before completely bashing CD?
mmm for every CD server theres 5738495734986534 vac server, so why would they take the times to make CD proof cheats, if no1 use CD?

btw those are random numbers, cuz i never saw a CD server on steam :O

Don't you newsposters have a list of sites that you check daily? I was always under the impression that you probably get spammed with submissions like "new CD version".
no, the submissions get spammed with hardly coherent text, if anything.

Of course, one of the features of VAC is that it detects cheats, but doesn't actually ban anyone for a period of days-weeks after the detection. So you have someone develop a cheat, test it, release it, a hundred people download it, and then two weeks later *bang* they're all banned. VAC had detected them all along, but didn't do the mass ban for a while.

They do this precisely because this way there's no accurate way to tell which cheats are VAC-detected.

Yeah Hank's right, I knew someone that got banned from vac enabled servers because of "Past Cheating Violations", so he must of been flagged and got banned along with hundreds of others who had his hack. Gj to the developers of VAC, thanks.

It's also always been like this, even before the ban delays. There have always been more VAC-proof hacks out than CD.

By using VAC, you ban the cheater from 99.9% of CS servers. That is, if he gets detected.

Everytime I accidentally connect to a C-D server, half the people are hacking. However, I find like 1 cheater out of every 10 VAC servers i join. Cheaters are much more afraid of VAC servers than C-D servers.

That's because if they get caught by VAC, they would have to get a whole new account. If they get caught by CD, it's only a ban from that specific server. (or it might be all the servers using CD, I don't really know)

Joolz stated in the Counter-Hack interview that he thinks CD is better and that the head-coder of CD really knows what he's doing. Perhaps Valve should hire him to help out with new detections. There are many working hacks still out there, I think Valve should do their best to try to eliminate them all, if not most of them.

Ehh...cheats are gay. Thats all I really have to say. Don't use them because you think they look "cool" because you saw a hacker move 80 miles per hour across de_aztec while emptying a pasa clip in 3 seconds and headshotting 14 people, because in the end you will regret using them.

Cheating is pretty fun but a lot more people cheat on vac servers than you think, be it just a smalll wallhack or radar hack.

                          Reaper is still good

Almost every server in Finland uses C-D and it seems to work pretty good. Sometimes I play on Swedish VAC servers and they're always full of cheaters. I don't know if the different anti-cheat system is the reason or is it that the Finnish servers have more active admins. United Admins have also their own cheater list, so if you get banned from some UA server, you're banned from them all. All the biggest Finnish server providers are using the UA ban list.

well then he should send Valve his resume if he wants to work for them that much.

like someone said, popularity is an issue too.

I don't know if they updated their "cheat definitions" or whatever you want to call them, but they definitely just did a mass ban the other day. The steampowered.com forums are a mess with people claiming to be banned for no reason.

                                The fools.
