I downloaded the insane quality from fileshack in Seattle and it was so fuglied and mangled by pixels of multi-colors. Anyone else have this problem?

Here in Australia I pay $100 a month, for 512/128 and a 10gig download limit!

truly amazing, so much work went into it. i cant beleive how much of an improvement it is over militia1. the texas t wasnt bad, its good that tfg got some diversity in there (irish/scottish ct) its worth any waits you might have or problems.
dice. get a hard drive larger than the sierra folder.Comment

Yes, much improved from the first one, and I was actually fairly impressed by the production values. I really shouldn't criticise too much since I could only watch the first ten minutes straight through before skipping through the rest. (But.)
I can take it for what it is -- game engine mini-movies are an inventive little genre. Still, the script was pretty painful to sit through. Also, I do wish they'd stayed a bit more faithful to the engine, without too many added audiovisual effects. I reckon that's more an issue of personal preference, but if you're gonna do it in the engine, do it in the engine.
In spite of me being a grouchy old bastard, it's obvious that it was a pretty grand undertaking and a lot of work was put into it, and I'll always respect that. I will say this much about it -- I'm notoriously over-critical about sound production, and the audio was surprisingly fairly well-crafted. Good call, TFG.
FilePlanet (so named because it often seems like you're trying to download from Pluto) wasn't too painful with the 300+MB version -- I just started the download and went to watch the Titans game.$ina© wrote..
