Notice how I didnt use the word realism or mention realism in any way in my original post. I wasn't even talking about realism, I was talking about weak story.

      Success! 300 posts!

Anyway. What is your critereon for a "weak story" Gatorade? You suggested earlier that it was "plain stupid", that the CTs don't live up to your expectations of intelegence. I've got bad news, you're not Russ, or Brad, or any of the other CTs or Ts. They don't live by your standards.

And before you pull out the "they lack common sence" argument: a persons actions is as much determined by his situation as that of his inner being. I would have thought it common sense not to commit genocide on a massive scale, but you know what? Hitler did it, with the support of hundreds of high ranking offcials in the German government and military. It's fair to say, in hind sight, you'd never kill a Jew just because you were ordered to; but, you weren't there, you haven't the foggiest idea of what it's like to be under that kind of preasure, and neither did Russ or his fellow CTs when they got mixed up in that Terrorest nonsense. So deal with it.

They could of thought of something at least a little more realistic...
          There it is.

Darrel Strawberry: "Well I don't know you but.... yes."

Well that wasn't what I really meant. The unrealistic part I was talking about had nothing to do with the realism of the story or plot, I was talking about retarded counter-terrorists trying to be heroes

Well perhaps I have interpreted the movie in a different way. I believe that the movie was made as a "CS players playing CS and made into movie" type. I was interpreting and expecting more of a "real life situation but in CS" type where everything is like real life but just put into a CS form.

If I was a realism freak I would've said the following:

If they had common sense and paid attention during training they would have pulled back and waited for instructions from the commander.

Luckily I'm not a realism freak.
