and of course we can still remember how before the tournament everyone from US was 100% sure that the US clans would dominate the Europeans. Once again all Euro clans finished top12, with Sweden taking all three best =)

Actually, I've been telling my CS buddies for months that we'd be lucky to have a single U.S. team crack the top 5 at the CPL this year. Tactical superiority does always beat aim, and I was banking on TSO to do better than they did, but they still put on a good show.



Perhaps this fellow I'm quoting above isn't the best example for my following train of thought. I've heard that a lot of the Americans on the HLTV servers (and reportedly some of the U.S. clans) weren't the best of sportsmen, trash talking and gloating over victories, making insults and excuses over losses.



To all the European gamers and audiences, I would like to apologize for this behavior. I'm ashamed by association. Please don't think that all of us are like that.



To the Americans who believe they can salvage a little bit of honor or dignity through poor sportsmanship, you're actually accomplishing the opposite. CS is an international community and you'd do well to remember that you're (even on a limited scope) ambassadors for a short while when you run into gamers from other nations. Act professional and be courteous.

This is the bullshit I was talking about. Europeans weren't always from Europe. So we could all be Asians? Asians weren't always Asian, they came from the somewhere else. It's endelss?
