    Condition Delay

CVG is reporting that Sierra and Gearbox have delayed CS: CZ's arrival once again. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but here you go:
Counter-Strike: Condition Zero was originally slated for spring, then pushed back to summer, and now, via an updated release schedule, Sierra has revealed in that it won't be with us until November. Bah.

Reason for the delay is unknown, and when contacted earlier today a spokesperson for Sierra UK would give no comment.
This is indeed total suckage. Let's hope that all these delays are only to improve the game.

What a surprize. You should never wait for a game to be released. It will just piss you off.

Hahahahahahah Thats funny, my 2cents is don't even bother waiting for CS-CZ...its never coming out. CS-CZ is a coporate plot to piss off* (Edit) honest 12 year-old hackers around the world waiting for a new game to cheat in. But seriously I don't expect to see this out till late December or January even.

Etter's right... Just now I went to my local software store (CompUSA) to purchase a copy of Warcraft 3. (It was advertised in the newspaper) So I got there and couldn't find it. Then I looked at the newspaper ad again. It is going to be in thier stores tomorrow and not today. Now I am pissed off. So in conclusion, waiting for games will piss you off.

I'm ok with all the delay - they can delay it as much as they want - BUT because of all the delays, they will not have any excuse for releasing a crappy product.

That's the problem with delaying your game, the standards you are judged by are necessarily increased each time.

All I have to say is I have givin up on CZ and gone on to enjoy SOFII. I will forget about CZ and may buy it if and when it shows up on the shelves. I feel bad for those who have pre-ordered it. bummer for them

Heh, condition zero will be on the Team Fortress 2 engine next thing you know and CS2 will be planned to be included with Team Fortress 2 but still won't be released even 4 years later.
