Hey guys. Just wanted to say if you want to play the REAL cs Classic, go to www.langames.net or contact me on icq (Renegade[CSR]) and I'll send you either beta 1 or beta 5.2.
I highly recommend downloading 5.2, and the glock sound in beta 1 is unbeatable. If you want to play the real cs classic, play 5.2, it brings back the old excitement that cs used to give you, and is loads of fun.
Guys, the real cs classic is right at your doorstep, go get it!
The one thing, to get these to work you must do a reinstall of half-life straight from the cd into a new folder(Sierra/Half-Life 2) which WONT overwrite the current Half-Life you have. Once you reinstall half-life into that folder DO NOT UPDATE ANYTHING. Just leave it as is, and all the mods will work as long as you install them in that folder (ex. Half-life 2) and run half-life from there.
Omg cs was once not dependant on valve updating half life, who would've thought?!
And I wouldnt' want to play multiplayer with v1.0 halflife. At least use the version where they heavily modified the netcode so it was independant of fps. I agree with Rizzuh, but I don't mind playing CS Classic with me m8s, you know, like playing a realy old console game, - fun for a while. Though the old console games are 1,00,000 times better than this mod.

I love Valve. Only gaming company which can get away with making one game and not get flamed about it and still get paid big bucks for making crappy mods. Well, techinally two games, but TF2 is vaporware.
Person 1: Valve sucks. They've made one game, but still is considered to be an industry leader.
Person 2: HALF-LIFE!
Person 1: Yeah, great game isn't it? I love Valve!

am i the only one here who thinks the usp model looks better than the one we have now?!?!? i mean i have to get a skin for the but-ugly thing. but mind you i like my realism....i practically have a skin for every model in cs and its all hp(highpoly for the morons).
the old betas were.....ok but the player models have improved a lot since then (thank god)Comment

CS-Classic Team :
We are starting from scratch for CS-Classic beta 2. It will be a clone of CS Beta 5.2 and that means, fast speeds, crosshairs when unzoomed, scoped colt etc. It will be released in about a month and a half, possible longer. As for the review i thought it was a little too harsh. There were things being said like "The models are crap" and my answer to that well of course there crap, there from betas and this mod is trying to re-create the experience so of course we are going to include them, the reviewer has to get hes facts right 1st. We are only trying to give people a bit of fun 4 christ sake. Most people are forgeting that this is just beta 1.1 and thats a very early stage. So dont expect it to be "OMFG CS-CLASSIC JUST 0WNZ" or what ever gay leet language half the cs community use. All i can say to you now is look forward to beta 2, thx.Comment

Whinning whinning, from both side even rizzuh. I must admit the fact you are trying to intimidate people in your comments is true. I'm not saying you're a bad person but when I'm reading a real review. I'm expecting to see impartial comments. this is just really not proffessionnal (especially for this important position you have) and I rather check out community news on sogamed.com where they keep their comments after the news is posted. Maybe you're just a pawn like someone said and it would be so insane to complain about the mod your friends have created.
