You seem to confuse "reporting" and "reviewing." Like three people have disagreed with me and all have said I'm biased. That makes no sense. What am I biased to? This is not competition to CS, I don't work for Natural Selection. I merely wrote up my thoughts on the mod. If this mod were extremely fun I would express that and embrace the mod. It isn't.



What you mean by saying that I'm biased is that you like the mod. Why don't you just write that?



I think it's sad that you didn't visit our site more often based on your prejudice of me. I encourage you to come back frequently, we post a lot of great content and most of it isn't touched my scorning hand of bias.



For the majority of you who had a good time with the review I'm glad I made a lot of you laugh :x It was fun writing the review and obviously it wasn't meant to be professional. I felt ranting on and on about this mod would be best with sarcasm and humor rather than repeating the faults thirty times (which I did anyone, only in a funny way). Or maybe it wasn't funny at all and I lose at the internet.

Im a Beta1 veteran and I used to love CS, it seemed allot better back then but thats more ot do with the fact that it was a breath of fresh air to play something fairly realistic over the all the other sci-fi mods and plus the community seemed better. But now the communities grown, it hasnt really gotten worse just some of the older people I used to play with have moved on to other stuff. CS has become very old and stale, theres only so many years you can play the same game and as now theres so many other CTvT games out there its no longer unique, fresh and exciting.



The game itself is allot better now than it was, things were changed for a reason, maybe bad reasons but still things have changed for the better.

Every point that rizzuh brings up is valid. But I can't escape the undeniable fun this is. Although it's now infested with cheaters. Everything I love, cherish, and worship die. *cry*

THATS WHAT I DAID AND SOME gUY ACCUSED ME OF LIEING ABOUT ME BEING A BETA VET=P well i hated this mod since the second i played it. after about a 30 second i left the game and delete the mod. rizzuh this review was one of the greates things i saw. and to what i saw from the people posting it was great befor have seem to shut up and realize its NOT im glad rizzuh might have knocked sence in to them. gj rizzuh. and Fuck You CS-Clasic u can eat my ass

The review gets 5 stars ***** but the CS-Classic goes to hell... the mod is terrible... everything that was mentioned in rizzuh's review is correct and the funny thing is that i havent even tried out beta 1.1 but i dont need to (anybody, even n00bs, would know to stay away)

I've played with you and I know that you're a good player. Imagine what it looks like when some guy named fdsa goes 50/8 with half of his kills being headshots. How unreasonable to think that person is cheating!! I give people the benefit of the doubt, but that's just silly. I don't understand why skilled players use aliases and then bitch about cheating accusations. If people knew that you were a "professional" player, then they'd probably be more understanding of your skill.

Well.. he's not a "professional" player. I play in CK3 and club aK's pubs, but that doesn't make me a professional player or anything near it. Any one can go to any pub any time, that doesn't make them good.



edit: Also, think of this: Many people who do well in pubs are not CAL-i level players. They have clans, and they don't want to do bad and then make their clan look bad. How many times have you seen some one playing with the nick "X3|-Miller" or "3D.da bears" or something to that effect? Many admins will ban/kick these players who are "impersonating" good players. Also many people ask "omg is it really you?" "is that him??" "yo kyle dude that you?" and such. Pro players may also get called impersonators/newbies/wannabes etc. They'd rather just use some random alias then deal with it all. It may seem trivial too you, but when it happens in every single pub you go to...

I think that the reason rizzuh wrote it so 'scornfully' was that he wanted to prove a point. Sometimes points can be proven easier using humor. *cough* Satire *cough*

ahahah hi five rizzuh you are right on. I started around beta 3 or 2 or whatever it was so long ago i froget but the betas were NOTHING like that. Those newbies that played that almost made me piss my pants laughing.



I make a comment on my mp5 model and this guy says "Yeah thats the beta 7.1 model you n00bzixcorixznzz". I ask him how longs hes played cs and he says "5 years since beta 1.0 the very begning" I laughed my ass off and quit the game, uinstalled the mod, made sure it was clear from my registry, burned the hard drive, washed my hands, and put some drops in my eyes.



Oh beta 7.1 was the best beta of em all.
