If I'm not mistaken, didn't TechTV cover some of the CPL a while back? I hope that they do this year, it would be interesting to watch.

Diffuse is a different word than defuse. Defuse may also be unlisted in some older dictionaries, it was previously de-fuse. Same goes for some spell checkers.

Hmm, I have lived in England (Gloucestershire) for over 10 years, but im Danish. Most English people hate the french, but they all learn to speak it in School and go on holiday there.. go figure???

anyway on the e-sport side I think it will have a great future, if CS is the best tool for the job remains to be seen.

                        Good work so farr.

Rizzuh, could we get more cover from our side of the pond please?

Any good game would make you want to play it, not watch someone else play it.

Actual sports require physical effort, a field to play on, a semi-organized group of people, and possibly a good amount of equipment. CS doesn't have requirements like that; shitloads of servers are there, as are players, and the biggest physical activity is moving your hand around. There really isn't a whole lot stopping most people from playing.

High-level sports Can draw an audience because not everyone has the opportunity, massive amounts of time, inclination, or the physical attributes to get drafted into an NBA/NFL/NHL/World Cup team. With online games, it's far easier for Joe Blow to become one of the "Big Dogs" without completely rearranging his life.

                                Face it.

Watching CS on TV will be cack. It just doesn't cut it for being a spectator sport. Watching it on a computer is different somehow. No-one will watch it on TV. Except for a *small* amount of people.

On another hand, Britain in the most part does not want to be part of the "glorious Europe" that EU twits blab on about.

Us Brits are the people who can spell (honour, colour etc etc etc), and we don't invent pointless words like "hospitalise" instead of "cure" people.
