Heh, funny stuff. Yeah, the Velvet Strike lady might be serious, but the decision to link to the "GUI" site was pretty dumb, as it's obviously satirical in nature. Granted, they deadpan it so much that it comes across much like peaceboy myg0t wannabies, but it's definitely meant in humor.

I agree with you who say that the Velvet-Strike professor may have a legitimate beef -- according to her mind you..



But then to link to "GUI" people only makes her look like a loon.



I think if this professor is serious about changing the world, she can spend her time doing something that is actually worthwhile and that might have a real impact instead of focusing on frickin' video games, not just CS, but all the "evil" games she apparently plays, but then hates (hypocrite much?)



As far as the GUI people... That has to be a joke.

I seriously doubt kids who look like they belong on skid row -- you know, the real kids you see begging for money down by the rail road tracks and downtown metropolitan areas -- Have enough money to design a shockwave flash site, let alone look that "clean" in their photos in addition to the hilarious "testimonials" they give as to why they are now "trying to get people to see the light or truth" or whatever the hell crap they said.

Funny thing is is that the professor for Velvet-Strike actually admitted to liking CS when she mowed down 8 people. That's the reality and irony of this whole thing. Games like CS give us a thrill that thank God most people don't want to get in real life. Psshhha.
