I like this one especially since I used to play Tribes 2:



Recipe for Crashing by Brody(aka sylo):



1. Join a vehicle heavy Tribes2 server.

2. Create and pilot a transport ship.

3. Gather friendly warriors in the transport pretending that you will soon fly to the enemy base.

4. When everyone is in, fly away from the enemy base, into the endless beautiful landscape.

5. Convince your passengers that this is a shortcut, or you are taking them on a nice tour, to calm them down.

6. Fly as far as possible.

Upon landing(or crashing), your passengers will be so far from the battle they must commit a mass suicide (ctrl-k) to return to the fighting.

Here's my review of this small time op:



-The flash site looks like it was made in the amount of time it took them to realize they only had 2 hooded robes and well, towels are kinda like robes.



-In the Propaganda section, GUI (Add a "Very" to their name and many ppl will be confused) members employ the tactic of redecorating two rooms of the militia house with pro-peace signs. *It should be noted that they only do this in LAN games.



- Mission 2 Summary: Salvation. Do not rescue the hostages! Walk around, look around, listen to our "dreams" of peace.| Dreams, ya, well put.



Anyway this rainbow of primate excrement piles up for a while and is not worth the server it's hosted on. I dunno why I'm writing this, but the stupidity speaks for itself. That's all. I've killed more than enuff brain cells for today, sorry Beer u'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Personally I would like to see computer games move towards fantasy, away from military fantasy which pretends to "realistic". I like fantastic environments where there is more room for imaginative habitats and characters. Japanese games for children and adults are engaged in this undertaking, filled with curious animal Pokemon creatures, Robo-cats, transformers, Anime people, monsters, demons and fairies, of all genders. I identify more with these characters than with counter-terrorist or terrorist soldiers and they are what I want to be my reality. Reality is up for grabs. The real needs to be remade by us.



Go play pokèmon or some other anime/hentai adventure if you dont like blowing the brains out of T's. I like pokèmon (I do!), I like all kinds of fantasy shit. But please note: pokèmon fight too, and not to mention some of the most brutal and violent movies i've seen were japanese hentai. Not to mention the pr0n...oh shit, what'd I say now? :o.



Offcourse I want the world to be a better place, but as long as humanity exists, it won't be. Live with that. We'll stop playing CS when there's no more war. No wait, this is better: if every world leader would play CS instead of starting a war, the world would be a better place. Period.

After establishing himself in the community of Everquest, he was, without provocation, murdered and looted by a random street gang. We are still mourning his loss. I myself was the victim of this deadly sort of activity. While visiting a close friend of mine in a quaint Italian villa inside of Counter Strike, we were both unsuspectingly shot at by a gunman with unknown sick motivations, and barely escaped with our lives.

I believe now that both GUI and Velvet-Strike are farses. Funny ones at that.

Um ... because it's a counter-terrorism simulation? Because one of the terrorist outfits is called the Arab Liberation Force? She may be a kook, but she does have a point. Obviously many of the players have made the connection -- anyone who joined a public C-S server immediately after 11 September saw evidence of that. Yes, it's a game, not to be taken too seriously -- but you could just as easily tell that to the player joining a server with a name like "F*ck the Arabs".



Granted, that still doesn't mean that I'm not having a good chuckle at her expense, but that may well be her intention as well. I've learned over the years that you can rarely take acts of civil disobedience at face value.
