Well, im 13 and i was one of the greatest players in the lan house i play. Now, i am not so good, im getting tired of CS. (i still like maps like cs_rio, i am from Brazil). I am a compulsive reloader too, but DoD is helping me to stop with the "shoot 3 bullets, reload, T show up and kill u"Comment

I know exactly how you feel. I started playing when 1.0 came out. I sucked. 1.2(or was it 1.1, i dunno its been so long) came out and things changed. I played a lot more. At one point during the summer I played so much I had about 5000 kills racked up in less than a 3 week period and still managed above a 3:1 K
ratio. Then I went to college and couldn't play online for 9 months. Now I totally blow again. Btw- Reload is a good excuess but I prefer the "I only had a knife" aproch.

I think it's pathetic the way U all have been playing cs since it has come out and U still all suck! I've only been playing since sometime around the beginning of 1.3 (i think) and i dont think i suck that much. I mean really, I have some "not so good days" but all the others are pretty good. Now I must admit that I have no real life because I play cs 24/7 (and im not 12, im 14), and I may get a little more practice than all of U but really, U cant suck THAT much. Actually, im beginning to think that U guys really dont suck, U just say it (Y? I dont know, maybee ur just all a bunch of idiots who want to be recognized as people who who cant do shit) to get attention. But 4 all of the people who really do suck that much, I have 2 words 4 U...

But, I don't think it depends all on 1 thing, I play CS since 1.3, (i got it for Sinterklaas -Kinda Santa Claus- ) And i sometimes have good days, and the other days go bad... Also, it Would b gr8 if Mr. Gooseman added a Sprite above ur head when ur typing, just like in quake...
I know not every1 wouldn't shoot then, but not everyone is that stupid... (at least I think it's stupid)

When you're around the age of 3, you have no responsiblities, at all. You simply eat, sleep, and play.
When you're between 5 and 18, you have responsibilities, but still, not a whole lot. Its called school, yes. Now on your free time, you don't have to worry abou those responsibilities, in that time, you can play counter-strike. Why not go out? Because you can't exactly go out all night and hang out with friends, or mommy would get mad and ground you. And the general age description, 12, is not intentionally a "prime" age for playing CS, its meerly saying those people without responsiblilties, you, you're 14, you don't even have a drivers lisence, you can't get into a bar, your voice more than likely sounds just about the same as your little sister.
When you're older, 18+, you have responsibilities, you (should) have a job, or be in college, which will in the long run, earn you a job. If you're older yet, you have to juggle work, bills, kids, a spouce, etc. Free time is limited to say the least.
The simple fact that younger teens have more time to spend on the computer is the deciding cause to why they are better.
Not to mention, as you get older, you seem to realize, there are better things to do. When you get older, and mature, you will get out of that 'ackward' phase of talking to girls, you'll be confortable on your own, and won't have to depend on a group of people / hide behind a shroud (computer / internet) to talk to people, and you'll probbably want to do things with other people who feel the same way, and *gasp* even the opposite sex.
There is also the 'learning curve.' it is a proven fact that early teens' brains mature much more quickly than older folks, the effect? They can learn things much quicker, and much easier than older people. Its a lot easier to get into a 'grove' such as playing sports, or video games, than it is for older people.
And why are so many poeople admitting they suck? Many reasons, some may want to redeem themselves, they are ashamed of playing video games, and they don't want to be considered a nerd. These people are insecure. There are also HONEST people, who simply tell the truth. And there are people who just quite frankly could care less about a game, they just like to play for FUN.
Now, here's some words for you and others like you.

Well, since I'm in denial, I DON'T SUCK. Darn that Dev team! I would rule if only 2 things changed...
m249 has a standard combat load of 200 rounds, not 100, and happens to be more accurate than the M4/16.
Knives are deadlier than bullets! Try it! Take a knife and stab somebody, then take a bullet and stab somebody, ask both who's more hurt.
