Vavle doesn't need the source code to stop a cheat. Apparently OGC's source doesn't even include the methods used to bypass VAC.

It's not a metaphor, it was an analogy. I wasn't comparing the crimes, just the punishments. If you do or ever have cheated, you are accepting the fact that you will/have be/been banned. You deserve it, you actively made an irresponsible choice.



If I made an analogy to stealing someone's DVD player it wouldn't really be a powerful analogy.

Hey rizzuh I agree with you about my situation. (and probably alot of other's too.) I made a bad choice, and I payed the consequesnces, (about three servers I used to play on banned me.) but I feel as strongly as anyone now about my loathing of cheats.
