Embossing is tacky in almost every instance I have seen it used.



You have to understand that the text is not meant to be a part of the background, it's supposed to distract you from the image. It's a calendar, not just a render.

Thats why you mix up alot of stuff but very, very rarely should anything be at 100 percent. Just putting in a hint of say 25 percent mixed with other stuff can help alot.

Play CS on PC, but mainly use macintosh and the toolbars on the top of the screen block some of it out so I had to edit it in photoshop. Pretty cool though. Like Logo effect. Text needs work.
