rizzuh, I say you do what morph does. Gives text a white stroke and leaves the fill transparent. It always turns out okay.

Embossing is tacky in almost every instance I have seen it used.



You have to understand that the text is not meant to be a part of the background, it's supposed to distract you from the image. It's a calendar, not just a render.
