I have an XBox and have had one since 2 days after it was released. I own games such as Halo and I have played Halo online through a Gamespy version of XBox Live!.
I think CS on XBox is a wonderful development and will benifit Sierra when thousands of XBox users buy it.
I read someone's post about communication being a problem because you can't type and if you could type then it would require BUYING a keyboard. Good for us ACTUAL XBox users, we have done our research and we know that when you register for XBox Live!, you will be given a microphone/headset/ear speaker for FREE! Of course reegistration is $50/year. But that does include online gaming.
I can't wait for XBox Live! or CS for XBox, it will be quite a hit.Comment

It would be nice if they made a gun controller like the game DuckHunt for Snes. That would just be godly. I dunno bout the movement tho but xbox can do great things =] i hope they do this might get me back into the every boring world of crap consolesComment

Xbox and all the other dam console- piss me off- first u buy the console then u have to buy all this crap games that u can get 4 free on computer (burn them!) and than u buy all the acessories and the the console goes out of date.... Computer-at lest u can upgrade it.Comment

I bought an XBox for one reason: Halo. Then when I heard that Unreal Championship was coming out for it, that made my day. Then one day my friend told me that CS would be coming out for XBox. I checked it out right away and sure enough, he was right.
Now, I think CS will be awesome on XBox if the developers know what they're doing. If they take a look at what Halo did with the controls and how you can change them, it will be amazingly amazing. If people actually try Halo out on XBox, I think they'd shut up and realize that CS on XBox is a great move.Comment

The only problem i can see is the accuracy. It is much harder to aim with a little joystikc thing than with a mouse. similar to when Q3 went to Dreamcast and PS2 (i have it on PS2) its still very fun to play, just its impossible to get as good as u can with a mouse and keyboard. and even if u get a mouse and keyboard the framerate and amount of bots for Q3 on those system was severly limited. This will not be a problem for CS on X-box, and as X-box will be broadband only theres no problem with connection speeds.
as long as they dont get in the way of PC CS (like they stole halo and knights of the old republic), i wish them well.Comment
