Sigh, some people just don't get it. Game companies aren't dumb. They KNOW CS - with all it's controls and stuff - could not be ported straight to the Xbox. They KNOW that. And if they didn't at the start, playtesting would point it out like a very sore thumb under a very heavy 20 tonne weight.
Some of you are sounding as if the developers and/or microsoft are hammering a square block into a round hole.
Which is why the developer of the port will change the control structure. The chances are, the PC and Xbox versions won't be compatible - you can't hop onto a PC server if you have an Xbox, for example. This means they don't have to be the same. Xbox players are all going to be on the same level.
So - quit complaining that it'll be difficult to control on the Xbox. It's not in the developers interest to create a game that requires you to use your feet to play as well as your hands - they want to attract new players too. The controls will be adapted to provide a seamless way to play the game while still retaining CS's more intricate details.
I'm just impressed that no one has started that 'Valve are greedy gits' crap yet.
