CS on Xbox

I don't wanna be just bashing X-Box and Bill Gates and all but I just want u guys to realize what's going on here. I know console gamers would love to see an internet gaming console system but if i wanted to buy all these things to play one game over the internet, i'd have to pay for x-box, controller, the game, mouse, keyboard, headset, and God knows whatelse. When u can play the same game we all have now for free. See the difference? But I can see that there are many ppl out there looking for an alternative gaming device and that's all good, I got many console systems myself. U guys must be saying, "Why, you spent about 2 thousand bucks on a computer, that's way more than the x-box will ever be" that's true, but with x-box u dont get what you pay for money wise. I would easily spend 2000 bucks on a comp because of the fact, I can use e-mail, talk to people, play games, do hw, dl porn =D, and debate about issues such as this. So spending about 500-600 bucks on a console system, IMO is a waste of money. Also, in about 2 or 3 years, x-box = obsolete, with newer systems comming out etc. Usually, gaming systems are meant for single and multiplayer (meaning for like friends or parties) type of gaming. Why buy all those things to play online when u can just buy the game for the comp? Oh I forgot one thing, they'd probably charge for the online fee for gaming. I don't know the payment but I think Sega.net would be doing it, no? Someone tell me.

I want an xbox but I haven't sold my gamecube to buy one just because it doesn't have a keyboard and mouse. If I could lock onto a target in a quarter of a second and track him while he moves and I move I would like it. Without a mouse I don't see that happening.

lol good, OGC will make h4x for CS for x-box very good idea, also won't ppl be able to hack the online provider for x-box? Hm.. Think about this.... Maybe someday, not now, when sales are running low, Bill Gates will put in a bug online that will go in to the x-boxes and screw some of the things over, like the modem or the system itself, claiming that there was a bug in the online provider from a hacker causing the malfunction of the x-boxes or games, whatever bs they wanna say. Sorry for the inconvenience but due to amount of bugs we will not be able to replace your x-box free of charge.....

Dude, xbox for cs = no workage. CS = PC game, meant for a pc, meant for a computer configuration and equipment. So xbox = no workage once again, xbox = suckage too.

I have to agree though that fps games like CS should be played on the PC with mouse & keyboard for best performance.. Although Halo plays pretty good with a controller, a console is more fun for fighting games and other game types etc that play best with a controller and include fun multiplayer for 2 up to 4 people..

in halo, you have to use the control pad.. it's not like a possible version on the xbox, in which you'd be pitted against people using mice and keyboards (presumably). Gl to those who buy it... you'll need it :/

Oh, and it's not like you have to go for all that added feature stuff etc, nobody is forcing you to play CS on the Xbox or to go online with it.. Also to my knowledge it's the PS2 that offering a keyboard, mouse & ability to surf the internet pretty soon, not the Xbox, so who's trying to be a PC more here? (not bashing the PS2, but defending the Xbox a bit by using this as an example)



Like I said, I play games like CS on my PC.. And I use the Xbox to play games that are fun to play with 2 upto 4 people on the couch in my livingroom on my bigscreen TV.. I also use it to watch DVD movies on it.. It's a perfect "add-on" to my entertainment set.. No battyboy fankid will be able to convince me that it sucks, and I will defend it any time I can..

Exo, MS Xbox live is an internet online gaming community, much like the MS gaming zone, where you will be able to play Xbox games online against other Xbox users/players.. I believe it's going online during this summer (not sure)..

Live goes on 12 weeks before christmas and will do one week ever week till Christmas. Microsoft is spending a billion bucks on it. Rumor has it you'll only have to pay like 50 bucks a year for every live game which should be nearly all of them.

Out of all the things I said, I never said x-box sucked ass, I just said it was a rip off, or was trying to state that point. Yes I know PS2 and also Gamecube are both going in to the online gaming buisness. Nintendo, since it is only a console gaming company, should go further like going in to the online gaming buisness cause of the fact that they are not a conglamorate. They need to make buisness so the bigger companies like MS and Sony don't take them over. Some games should be kept on the computer. Unreal Tourney, and Quake = dead on console, absolutely stupid, people paid 40 bucks for a coaster to put their drinks on while playing CS on their comp. Yes, like u said BigBear, x-box does come w/ some good games and the dvd feature. I'm not saying don't go out and buy an x-box, I'm just saying, "Hey look, Bill Gates is trying to scam us out of our money again."
