I have noticed an increase in cheating myself since the release of 1.4. I used to stick mainly to C-D server in 1.3 and can't recall playing against any cheaters(blatent at least). However I seem to be running inot the speed hack or whatever it is quite often now. Allowing people to fire off a full clip in a fraction of the normal time. Watching in first person mode you can easily tell.

Agreed.... CD was the best way to stop the cheaters.



You probably were watching someone with speed-hack set to automatic. Its entertaining to see someone do that about 3 times... then its time for massive slappage/burial... then bannage.



Oh, and I thought I'd add that the whole UnitedAdmins idea really is great. Proper representation for the server community patches up yet another externality to the whole online-gaming concept.

Well I'm sure it'll be nostalgic for some, but it really doesn't have any appeal beyond that and maybe the arm texture upgrades.
