? whats is the valve anti cheat anyway ?

? how does it work ?



I got the new patch 3.1.0.9a for my TUX box the server runs in secure mode "yeah right"

i tested the latest OGC's 7.x and 8.x hooks

with my test Comp BANG works ??????

im still looking for some DOC / FAQS on the VALVe anti cheat



im probably just gonna kill the half-life mods from my TUX box

and start hosting other none HL based games like RTCW wich is pretty cool / adrenaline pump :)



I dont have enough tools / docs / faqs

I CANT have a HL-CS server running cheat free

1.4 is not killing CS ....> cheaters does !

Im not saying that valve should be able to catch and eliminate every cheat all i want is a happy medium where all the popular cheats r disabled and thoes caught r banned no questions asked.



At the end of the day the anti-cheat programs can only catch cheats that they have access to so even the underground cheats wont get detected.



I read on the C-D server that the guy that produces OGC sells private cheats to well known clans for cash becuase they will never get detected.
