Silly canadians? why is that? it has nothing to do with what country you are from, obviously these views exist worldwide. YES, even in the U.S.A
Why act ignorant and stereotype Canadians? like i said, these views are world wide and dont just involve CS
virtually every game that has violence has been blamed for any violent acts
Not to mention violent movies, or Television. Theres always a scapegoat isnt it. "It has to be that violent game! it cant be that the kid has some issues at home/school,etc or it cant be the violence that is shown on the news EVERYDAY"Comment

The Edge and PCgamer are both great, the edge especially. Its like the industry standard mag.

I agree, EDGE is the only magazine i subscribe to and I notice that other magazines are starting to follow their lead in the style they write their reviews - but I think they've enjoyed the top spot for so long people hesitate to question them (or maybe I'm just eager to find fault I'm not sure) but lately I think they've judged some games quite harshly with their scores.

EDGE is mature. They know what standard games should be at, and by comparison to the 'normal' gaming magazines, do underrate. However, I've found myself agreeing more with Edge's review scores than any other magazine I've ever read in my lifetime.
I'd rather they reply condescendingly than in the Simpsons-mag style which mags seem to be adopting (go read a Simpsons (UK - US rip) letters page and you'll see what I mean)

I also said multiformat mags are tripe, probably because they're trying to get a large demographic and their marketing guys see the majority of gamers as kids...Comment
