The AWM is NOT a 30-06 as I had stated....I had a brain fart.

It is typically a .300 Winchester Mag. but is also available in a new and more powerful .338 Mag.

Stop making out CS is designed to be a friggin combat simulator. ITS A GAME, its point is entertainment not to train troops to peacekeep in bosnia.



Stop nit-picking over irrelevant rubbish and learn to accept CS not designed to be super realistic.

And VENGENCE. I have to agree with you on the whole 'leet speak' issue, its rather lame. But hey, at least when people do it you can generally tell the age / iq / maturity level of them. (12, below 100, that of a 5 year old).



But come now, just because your some fancy schmancy marine doesn't mean you'll automatically be a god on CS. Its mean to be real of course, but there are always the little things.



I doubt anyone cares much of your personal life either way, calling everyone else 'nerds' is just your way of justifying it I suspose, but hell, doing that makes you no better than every little kiddie using 'leet speak.'



Give it time, they'll get used to 1.4, or they'll quit. Either way, when 1.5 comes out, they'll all be bitching about that and saying how 1.4 was the best patch ever.

Definately not... I'm sorry about that one, but I payed just as much for this game as you did, and it is not fair to be discriminated like many of ther other games out there are doing. Counter-Strike is a game that has not let down 56k'ers as much as other games have... (Quake 3 Engine anyone?)



I'd love to get hi-speed, but it isn't offerred in my area. No... I don't live in the sticks... they just decided to stop offering it 2 km from where I live...



I have played for 2 years and lag comphensation was the best thing ever created. Just last night I was first on the scoreboard. I thought Wow, isn't that something.



Give me hi-speed and I am a killing machine... Trust me... I've done it!



56k has limitations of its own. But to be able to play a game where the playing grounds are more even between hi-speed and HPB's (As you like to call them) is a true accomplishment



None the less, I can't wait for 1.4. I'll be around the moment it is posted on here to download it =)

I work at Net house and i am planing to get CS 1.4 installed and running as soon as possible after it is released , howeaver i would like to knopw roughly what time CS 1.4 is out



I read CS 1.3 was out at 9am



So bascely i nead to know what time CS 1.4 will be out at (if possible tell me what GMT time it will be out at)
