well, 1.4 actually i dont know about... first thing i heard was jumping = limited, already im pissed, the second thing is "quick scope" is also taken off (quick scope is when you use no scope on your AWP/Scout, all you do is shoot your pistol then quick switch to your awp and bam, you killed him no scope <didnt really explain in detail but you get the picture>

Are you talking about the first-person spectator mode. Is that crosshair removed?



Why would this be taken out? You could use it to see where someone else is aiming, or maybe if that person is better than you, you can see how they aim and try to use that as a model to improve. Why would they remove this 'feature'?

Steam's Half-Life/CS was been updated again on Friday, but apparently we were too hyped up about about going to Berkeley and getting high to post about it.

I figured he was mocking his staff here at CSN. He does that a lot. I figured he was implying that this news item would have been posted earlier if it weren't for his staff 'going to Berkeley' and 'getting high' (quite possibly just to mock those losers who idolize 4/20).

No, simplex, the crosshair doesn't resize when the person you're viewing walks and stuff in first person mode. Now, the crosshair expands when you move, like Rainbox 6. It can be disabled, but it won't be enabled when you view other people. I didn't help you at all, did I?



The 420 thing was just in the area of general jokes. What the hell, we're computer gamers who work for a website, we don't just high-tail it to Northern California to smoke pot. It's more parody than anything else, but I really get offended when someone basically says I'm pro-Hitler and really support those kids in Littleton.

Millions of people do drugs not to be cool, but because they enjoy it. It's much like sex, some may do it due to peer pressure, but a lot of people simply find pleasure in reaching an orgasm for some reason.



It's very easy to group pot with things like crack and heroin, too. Pot is the antithesis of those hard drugs that might deserve a prohibition. Marijuana certainly doesn't deserve prohibition, as it has no side-effects that the nicotine and alcohol do not exhibit in some form.

Saying that they give pleasure does not take away the bad things connected with drugs and drug use..

I still think its wrong either way....
