In the opening to The Screen Savers on TechTV, our trademark lightning image (or at least the terrorist half of it) was displayed to hundreds of thousands of people! It was a promo for a little CS strategy guide for Thresh's CS tips bit. You can get Thresh's strats right here. Thanks to TechTV for linking to Counter-Strike 2d's assault map, as well.
Since they gave us no credit for the lightning image, though, I am filing a lawsuit. Years of lightning-making time wasted! Damn you Leo and Patrick!!!!!! But seriously, I never thought my attempts at a stubble-ridden terrorist taking on a CT with quite possibly the smallest M4A1 possible would ever glide right on to TechTV with help from a breath-taking lightning display. If only there wasn't such an obvious attempt to mask that it came from us, but I guess if it gives CS some free press, then we're all for it!
If someone could take a screen capture of this display, the Screen Savers will be running for a while (10 PM ET tonight, tomorrow: 1 AM ET, 7:30 AM ET, 12 PM ET). The image is shown within the first few seconds of the show. You can send screencaps to rze@counter-strike.net. Maybe someone from TechTV would be kind enough to send some HiQual images, too?
