X3 has gotten very heavy-headed recently (perhaps it's just that I spoke with them privately and knew that they were absolutely nothing like the great CK3), but I still regret them leaving. Any team that chooses to put off internet play for LAN play has something coming to them. I highly doubt X3 can win the CPL if it doesn't continue to play online, especially with CS: CZ and CS 1.4 being released.

Given that I've been in this community a long while, I must comment that X3 has almost always held that #1 spot with an iron like grip
Why is it that the US always has thought that X3 was the best in the world when it clearly wasn't? Maybe it was best in the North America, but if you look at Europe, they have never gotten to the same level as NiP, Exousia.. NiP was best in the World Cup this year, i.e. they were the best, beating X3 twice!
Also, we forget about the 1999 dallas cpl, where the swedish e9 (Team9), beat everyone and won the tournament. This clan contained almost the same members as NiP now. They were best then too! Then between Team9 and NiP there was MaFIA from Sweden. Again, nearly the same members.
And there are the Finnish clans, that do not have the money to travel to US for CPL's. But look at Ewoks, and the previos clan Exousia(Apostrophe). They are just as good as NiP with their best lineup, if not better. So stop saying an US clan is #1 when they never have been!!!!Comment
