you cant use custom skins in 1.4 beta.

What about custom weapon models/sounds like making silenced weapons unsilenced and hostages shout across the map and the like. As well as changing map .wads to brighten up dark areas on maps which makes enemies easier to spot...

Goo5ey makes a good point, although I don't believe that the majority of CS players who use custom skins/models/sounds/sprites mean to use it in that way. In fact I believe that being able to change things like that draws alot of people to CS, the ability to customize a game to your liking is appealling.

I re-formatted my computer with a fresh install of win2k and cs 1.4 doesn't work. D:
