Also, MAJOR ANNOYING (yet simple) BUGS like Seige's echo sound and office's door stuck sound have yet to be fixed. THESE are the type of bugs I wish to see fixed, not the fix for "Hax's openGL C-Everything Wallhack beta 821.3 revision 2"



All gearbox has ever been is a mod-maker for halflife that, instead of allowing us to download the game, makes us buy the game. Although this is a smart business move, a lot of us are too simple minded to notice this. Face it, mods like Blue Shift were pieces of crap compared to some other mods yet we still found ourselves paying 50 bucks for it because it's box resembled half-lifes and it had its name.



Id make some maps...

Puffycloud cuold download some pretty models...

My little brother could us MSPaint to draw some 2D art...

Rizzuh could say some pretty things about this "great project..."

Add a cool name and call our company "Geerbox" and include on the game's box a dandy logo that looks remarkably like the HL logo...



...And sell it for 50 bucks.

Hey has Gearbox or anyone else actually given reasons why CZ is being delayed? Perhaps, considering that most of us probably aren't game designers, we should give them the benefit of the doubt and aknowledge that the delays mean they're working on making the game better, or at least less buggy.

at first i was kinda pissed off at the release date....but i come to think about it



who are we to complain that a game has been delayed in its development...they didnt "promise" us that it would come out this summer and they arent promising us itll come out at Q1 2003..

just take RTCW i belive it was initially said to be released around 1999 and it came out in 2001 i think... just give them time to make it right and they probably will.

Single Player Missions are VERY original and hard to get ideas on. Yea maybe they are putting in some of those great challenges like get a knife kill! CZ has nothing revolutionary for a game. It will be CS just better if it comes out while I'm alive.

name three that have better gameplay. i have tried a bunch of different games, but i still end up playing CS, because it is unique in what it does, imho

True AoEII is one of the best games out there with not great graphics. Too bad your forgetting that it was near amazing for when it came out many years ago. When CS came out the engine was outdated and the graphics were well outdated by games like Q3. When CZ comes out the engine will be outdated again and DoomIII could even come out before it.



Does this mean CZ will suck? No but it doesn't help it et any better.



Oh and FYI CS2 is for those who are not getting CZ and are upgrading to get the weapons and such. CZ is for those who buy it for the graphics and single player.

No.



CZ is designed for people to play CS OFFLINE. It's original purpose was to give those with lower end internet connections the opportunity to enjoy CS without horrible connection issues. A single player CS version was the logical progression to bridge the gap between CS and CS2.

Stop ranting about the game engine, we all know it's old thats a no-brainer, its the gameplay that counts. Ok, the graphics aren't that good, but everybody lowers the res. and the rendering mode just to get 100 fps.
