CS: CZ = Wanted

GameSpy has put Counter-Strike: Condition Zero on their 2002 Most Wanted list. It's a short preview that gives a look into both the SP and MP sides of CZ.

The bulk of Condition Zero consists of the new single-player campaign, which takes place across a variety of real-world locations. Gameplay follows the same formula as the original -- there are two teams, terrorists and counter-terrorists, each with their own objectives to accomplish on each map. There should be about 16 scenarios in total, spread out across a few larger missions, which will be playable from the viewpoint of either the good guys or bad guys, offering lots of replay value.

When I first saw that whole story about "selling your soul to the devil just for really cool thing X" I did not think it was a rational story. Now I'm beginning to think otherwise. :-)

I still dont get it. What happens to CS after we get CS/CZ. Would it actually work as a united program/MOD or do we have it install it onto an entirely different folder-like the retail version of CS? Damn. If my XP crashes with CS/CZ aswell then I will have to move to Bermuda and look for the triangle.

This is covered to death in our CZ section. CZ's multiplayer will be released in an official update to CS.

Sorry. But I han't understood you. Multiplayer fom CZ will be update to CS? Or they are two different games?

The multiplayer that CZ has will be available to everyone. CZ will become the default multiplayer that we all use.

Huh... i thought they said that only the counter-terrorists would be playable in the single player missions....
