By the way, to address platinum's arguments, I couldn't care less about popularity. I certainly don't update this site for "popularity" or some sort of appreciation from the likes of you. I'm glad that our news interests you. I don't see why you cannot comprehend that there is a person behind the text. Bite the hand that feeds you. That's a cheater mentality.

i just summarized this part:

I'd say cheating in general is a waste of time. First of all, you personally accomplish nothing. You get banned often and, obviously, don't experience the real joy of cs: teamplay. A fair share of cheaters also hang out on cheater forums and in cheater chatrooms. That is a horrible waste of time.

i interpreted these words with my short sum-up("cheaters don't have fun") and i still don't think i misinterpreted your words. maybe it's a waste of time for you and teamplay may be the only "real joy" for you but... not for everyone(obviously). let me state that i never cheated and i play cs very team-orientated but i wouldn't have formulated my thoughts the way you did.



also my words:"you're unpopular=>you suck" were just a sum-up and not a direct quote of course. you used his supposed unpopularity to strengthen your point that you don't like him.

i don't know if he is unpopular or not but i know that this is completely irrelevant in this case. an irrelevant thesis should not be used in a good argumenatation, that's why i said your argumentation was "pathetic".

anyway id just like to answer/reply to rizzos question about my use of the word "waste" when i was refering to spending time fighting cheaters.



I've got plenty of other things to do in a given hour of the day other than argue with cheaters or tell people why and how much cheaters suck. Cheaters know they suck. I dont know what else I can really do for the community to eliminate cheaters. I mean, on the one server I have rcon on, if I determine someone is cheating then I will remove them from the server. Its a tough thing to do, to determine someone is cheating. And I will only remove them after watching them enough to make a wise decision. And I will only watch them while Im dead. Im not going to stop playing altogether and just watch for cheaters. Im not a babysitter. So althewhile Im waiting to be sure someone is cheating so that I dont kick them for being real good, other people are having to play with this cheater. That sucks for them. I just dont know what else I can do about it. I think there will always be people who want to cheat, and I dont think its very likely that they are going to be eliminated as long as cs is a mod for such an open ended game. I know Valve is working on the issue so I will trust them to do their best. In the meantime I will play only with people I trust (WORD TO MAH # NINJA BROVAS WORD WOOOOORRDD!! agahghah) and keep an eye on people who play with us that we dont know.

That's more info than we really need to know Rotten =D...anyways, I would love to say something deep and insightful, but I dont' want to waste my English AP vocab on people that won't understand whateverthehell I'm saying. I'm just gonna Rizzuh is pretty much right about everything, except about the popularity thing. I think that if you come on this forum and post a bunch of crap, that should be a sign that you lack intelligence and comprehension of what this forum really means. This is a place where the CS community comes to give thier two-cents worth...
