all anti-cheat software is outside the half-life engine... so no matter what they do, it will be hacked. The real challenge for the hackers will be the Valve anti-cheat because it will be implemented in the half-life engine. But, that won't be hack proof either. If CS 1.4 is to come out late 2003, i fear the cs community will crumble over this issue because they would be too pissed off at the game to wait for 1.4 and valve's anti cheat to free them.Comment

Lord or the forums...that's a nice name, thanks. I only said 3 days because any program not officially supported by Valve or created by valve is not a 'mastered' product. Punkbuster was quite successfull because they managed to update about ever 2-4 days. Other's don't seem to be doing that, they don't realize how little life hackers have.Comment

Cheating Death is EXTREMELY difficult to hack. It's been out over a month now and yet, do you ever wonder why there's no cheat site claiming they have a hack for it yet? It's because OGC can't just come up with new variable names like they do with other anti-cheats. They have to find a way to trick Cheating Death to let the cheat see info it restricts giving the player.

Hacker - Someone that takes a program and rearanges it with his own code to make it do something that it isn't supposed to do...
Cheater - Someone who takes the Hackers program, follows the simple install created by the hacker, and calls themselves a L337 HaX0r, and thinks they are the best HaX0r around.....
I respect the Hacker, I don't agree with it, but respect them, they do some amazing things...the cheater is just a moron that can't play a game....
