There are two things that are inaccurate in the wrapup news post about the CPL WC. The first is that the news post says that mTw.GoL "showed up without an autoberth and battled through a stiff 64-clan competition to get to their spot." The truth is that mTw.GoL got byes for both single elimination rounds. That is, they advanced to the double elimination section of the tournament without having to beat a single clan. Also, mTw.GoL was given the #4 seed, even though the first 32 seeds were awarded to teams that had earned autoberths. A couple of those qualified teams could not make it to the event, so the CPL decided to give mTw.GoL the #4 seed. Result was that they got a bye for the first single elimination round, and also one for the second single elimination round, because the first 7 seeds all got byes. So it's not true that they "showed up without an autoberth and battled through a stiff 64-clan competition to get to their spot."



The second thing that is inaccurate is that the article says that X3 "are usually weak Terrorists." This claim is also not true. X3 has traditionally being the strongest on the terrorist side among North American clans, and they have proved they are stronger on the terrorist side than the best European clans with the exception of NiP. And after both Nuke matches against NiP, one cannot say they are weaker than NiP on the terrorist side. If what the author of the article wanted to convey was that X3 is stronger on the CT side than on the T side, he should have said so. Most clans are stronger as CT than T. The fact is that X3 is the strongest North American clan on both sides, T and CT, and in the world only NiP has proved they are better than X3.

They had no autoberth. You're disputing my choice of words, battling? Whether they battled or not, mTw showed up with nothing at all and ended up placing #3. Respect in my book, twist my compliments how you like.

The CPL Tourney in Dallas 2 weeks ago was our clan's first pro-event. It was well organized and offered many benefits to keep us playing. (BAWLS! and oh yeah, a free computer for one of our guys) It was great meeting the coach/sponsor of mTw and just hanging out with all the best players in the world. Maybe our clan DID get STOMPED the first round, but we held our own in the BYOC! Well...maybe just sometimes. Anyway, all I ask is that there's more advertisement (ie via TV) about these events and that future events are capable of hosting more clans. I know many other very-capable clans who would have attended if they'd heard about the event. Props to NiP, X3, mTw and all the other players. It was a truly classy event. Oh yeah one more thing...BUBBLES!!! (NORM!!!)

from what i saw

mTw can win the tournament in 2002

they need to get rid of 3 of there members(i wont mention the names)

and get better players who stick with the teams strats more

if they get that and practice a lot then they can beat any clan in the world(in my opinion)
