To play demos, you use the playdemo command, not the play command.

I'd like to point out that there was plenty of interest in this year's CPL event. Many of us wanted to see the game live via HLTV and even more discussed it on forums and irc channels.



Angel's dream is that much closer to coming true and there's no doubt that this year's event was the most successful ever.



I hope he's making a profit.

Anyone else having a problem with the demo files?



In particular, round 1 overtime #2 only shows some pre-game stuff, and the very, very last 3 games of round2-2 are gone!!



I think these 2 demo files are just incomplete. Anyone know if there's a different set of them? Or different rounds/maps from the CPL so I can see neet tricks like the 4-man human ladder to the roof that X3 pulled towards the end of round1-2? Very ballsy, IMO..



The rest of them are sweet. HLTV is very nice what with the overlay map and all.
