rizzuh my friend.. what r u talking about.. canada has a better education system than what u have in the good ol usa... or mayb thats just in ontario... its been said by many professors/teachers (some which r from the us and teaching in canada < what idiots) that the us universities prefer canadian educated students =D. and no, its not easier to pass high school in canada.. its easier to pass it in the us because of those SATs, i was thinking myself to go over there get 1600+ out of the 1800 questions and go to harvard or something =D. Yes, and i hate all the damn conflicts with our beloved french population... i wish they would just part from Canada, so the canadian government wouldn't have to worry about there sorry complaning asses ne more. They talked about separation quite a few times but they never take action (sigh... ) i have 1 question for you people living in the us tho.. "why does the us government still allow the legal possesion of arms" i mean the civil war has passed (or whatever the scare was that the government had to allow legal possesion of arms). You "yes the police of the world" *cough* u.s *cough* have nothing to fear about.. those damn arabian bird chasers cant do sh*T to you!!!!
Canada wins WCG

PLatinum- The SAT is out of 1600 possible points, I think you wanted a 1400 out of 1600 which isn't that tough to do supposing you study enough. I'm just a junior but I've got a 1380.
By the way, you may think the Canadian Education system is good in comparison to the USA's, but our system changes on a state to state basis. You might have a better education system than Texas, but whoop de do that's quite easy to achieve.
The SAT's have nothing to do with passing school. Many students don't even take the SAT's.
why does the us government still allow the legal possesion of arms? For one too hunt. I like hunting, I don't do it often but many of my freinds missed a whole week of school after ThanksGiving becasue they went to their cabin to hunt. I know freinds who hit 10+ point bucks. The want for protection is another one. You walk from one side of LA to another and then yell at me about possesion of arms. Also, why not? I don't want people having their own Mac-10 or assault rifle, but I see no problem with hunting rifles and sport shotguns. Handguns are sketchy, I don't think people with criminal records should be allowed to own a gun, but that is my opinion.
I don't understand your comment about Arabian bird chasers...
By the way, don't defend the Canadian School System with mechanics and grammar like that, you are doing more harm than good.
I don't know what you are referring to whenComment

Oh, I didn't realize my paragraph was being evaluated. It is MUCH TOUGHER in Canada to enroll in a "respected" university because you see, we have no such things as "SATs". We are unable to take a SAT examination and apply for a university such as Harvard regarless of your previous high school record. In Canada, we are required to learn trigonometry and calculus at the grade 10 level where in the U.S, I think, they learn it at the grade 12 level.
On to the gun issue, Canada has its own hunting laws and that would require a law for firearms don't you think? Yes, but the fact is, the U.S has armed robberies, firearm related fatalities that are around 15X greater than what we have in Canada. Why you ask? It's because the law in the U.S allows idiots to "legally" own a convinient handgun. Also, why do schools around the niagra area have "lockdowns" and "metal detectors" upon entry? It's because yet again, idiots with easy access to handguns find it amusing to open fire on innocent students/teachers.
I'm not stating that we are all geniuses but the fact is, the literacy rate in Canada is higher compared to the U.S. It may not be significantly greater, but it's greater.Comment

SAT's don't get you into a college, you don't understand the US education system. I don't understand the Canadian Educational system, but I don't act like I do, you act like you know the US inside and out. Your GPA gets you into a college, your class rank does too, and your extra-curriclular activities are a great help. I have a failry high score on my SAT's, but I have little work ethic so my grades aren't that great. I could get a 800 on my SAT's but if I had a really high GPA I'd get into a good college. Many schools are considering dropping the SAT from their requirments. Many surveys have shown that the SAT score represents less than 10% of of a colleges choice to accept you.Comment

Canada's health care system is far superior to the US eventhough, we have like 40 million uninsured and HMO's. Fucking Canadians hardly took any of Normandy ok, I didn't see any fucking canadians in Saving Private Ryan. WWI lol! Canada's education system can't be that good or they would be able to pronounce their words right. Fuckin Canada has like a 23 ship Navy or something. All of Canada's women and pro athletes come to the US cuz it sux there.
Stop bragging about your SAT's. All an SAT score means is you can jump through a bunch of bullshit predetermined hoops. It's culturally biased too. And zero reflection of actual performance/potential. US ed. does vary from state to state, even among counties, a zone-variance can be the difference b/w good and bad education. Texas and Florida are death penalty capitals of US, CPL = death penalty, you are guilty too.Comment
