Yes, that's OGC's sound hook based wallhack. It's less accurate than openGL based wallhacks, and is useless if the enemy is walking or camping, thus not making any noise.

what is the half second model draw?
Last time they posted news about that (like a month ago or so) They mentioned that you could see the model through the wall for half a second , then he dissappears.

The news are at http://csnation.counter-strike.net/comments.php?id=4890 .

Gj VAC. Much less aimbots + Much less wallhacks = goody goody CS ^_^

This is where it gets good! Soon, wallhacks--public or not--will hold a tenth of their usefulness compared to what power they had a few months ago.

VALVe has successfully disabled many cheats through pattern matching through the code, and now they're trying to stop ALL wallhacks before they can even work.

Players testing this server should look for instances where a model (or part of it) is there for a second and gone the next, when the model (or part of it) should continue to be visible.

FLeK0, It won't let me download your cfg. The mirrror seems slow as hell.

                hm.. wtf.

i told them about that fix a year ago...

                they did not even respond.

and i hope by not drawing they actually ment that the info about their location isnt even sent to clients :|..

otherwise ppl will just hack it in a few lines of code.

yep, now they dont have to keep detecting all those opengl hacks pharlap makes right after its detected . I just hope its signifiactly harder for them to hook the sound system for their next wallhacks then it was to hook the gfxs.

they can call not drawing function from server side on clients and call it unhackble server side .

I would have settled for complete disabling

What I'm still questioning is if it still takes a half a second to make the model disappear, does it take a half a second to make a model appear?

it says in the article it's not causing clients to crash - but it IS
